As you will see from the sketches, the proposed Coronation Pier redevelopment has a number of spaces available for commercial tenancy.

These include the:


Lower Floor (Pontoon hull)

Possible uses include:

  • Hospitality such as lounge type bar
  • Tourism such as marine aquarium
  • Education such as marine studies
  • and/or additional space for tenants on other levels

Features:

  • Located in the hull of the structure is a 300 sq meter space  (33m x 9m) which is below the first floor and public viewing area. Outdoor space can be apportioned to this tenancy by negotiation.
  • Approximately 3 meter floor to ceiling height. Features concrete walls and ceiling with a timber floor suspended over the concrete pontoon bottom giving an industrial feel.
  • Note: this space has no, and will have no windows.
  • Access from the floor above will likely be to the north between the two ground floor tenancies with restrooms accessed off the ground floor. (subject to final design and fire requirements etc)
  • Development fit out is likely to be simple with the main focus on access, basic lighting, restroom facilities and business signage leaving tenants to provide specialized fit out.
